I've 'brushed up' my Titanium theme here and there, removed a LOT of the pinstripes, darkened and flattened the titlebars and menubar, changed the metal appearance and carried it over to matching included QuickTime and iTunes, and Safari themes and renamed it Titanium4. If you like the look try it for a few days and tell me what, if anything, you think should be changed for the Panther update after its release! Get it at http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Why aren't you using the new Aqua widgets in 10.2 for Titanium4?

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you post a picture of them or something? Are you talking about widgets or buttons and sliders etc?

Nice work - Tewksbury !
Especially like the your widgets -looks like a lotta work in there.

But surely pinstripes are for the Yankees and retro
self-styled 'suits' like teddy here. Not state-of-the-art theme hacks.

The aqua you're using (buttons, check box, etc) are from OS X 10.1. 10.2 have more of sharper Aqua.

If that is what you intended then ignore my post Your theme is looking good. The lighter stripes is more easier on eyes.

Not bad. You should work on getting rid of the Aqua all together next.

Yeah, my theme is really old and those have been there a long time without updating. I never use Aqua so I didn't even notice they'd changed. I really should replace the aqua elements with all new stuff but I don't know if I have the energy. Anyone want to donate some stuff that would match my theme? Maybe I will just pirate some more 'Brushed' stuff and darken it to fit in. :-]

OK, I've gotten rid of the lines everywhere and replaced the stolen darkened 'Aqua' elements with stolen darkened 'Brushed' elements from Max's theme (he said I could) and released it as Titanium5 for Panther10.2.8 It has a new version of the iTunes.rsrc for 4.1 and still has matching QT, Safari, and Camino themes too. I think the critiques I'm getting here are really helping my theme a LOT. Panther version coming within a few weeks probably! Get it at ResEx....
