im looking for some different GUI for my iBook any one got any recomendations or tips on how to do my own like tools needed and stuff keeping in mind im a beginner

Get aquafix from version tracker for the aqua backup...here's a basic theming tutorial using photoshop and themepark...

If you don't want to make your own yet http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/ is the place to get everything you need to use all the cool ones that are out there already. And modding a theme is a good way to understand how themes work.
