I have a rar and Stuffit won't open it. And for some reason Unrar X wont open on Panther 7B85. So I am wondering how to open a rar file from the command line, any help appreciated.

Sorry guys, I figured the reason UnRarX didn't work was Stuffits problem.

And I have no reason why I posted it in GUI forum . It was in the morning.

Odd. I did an upgrade of Panther and UnRar works great. Have your tried MacPar as well. (I think that's the name)

I finally made it work. It seems that there is a conflict between Stuffit Expander and UnRarX. The way I solved the problem was first to install Stuffit Deluxe 7 and then uninstalled it again. After that UnRarX has worked perfectly. I still have Expander 8 installed on my machine.

I've also tried MacPar and that program also works perfectly
