Only problem is, the Finder is the one app I can't add to the list of De-Metalifized apps.

It's greyed out of the list.

How'd you get it to do the Finder?

From the download page

I suggest adding Finder.app into the settings panel manually. it's in /System/Library/CoreServices/ directory.
I haven't downloaded it yet so I don't know if that's what you're talking about or not...

Doesn't seem to have... but I've got no metal Milk running on my panther, so the only way I can tell if it's not metal is by the menu bar.

I had to make sure the old ape was uninstalled before the new one was installed.

I can navigate to the Core Services area but Finder.app is greyed out and is not selectable.

It took two log out/in sessions to kick it into gear but it's working now.

I'd need a theme first

Hmmm, not bad! BTW, could you show us one with a colored theme (SS Studio Pro, for example) just to see how it handles that?

I'm getting a bit carried away I think... Watercolor:

Full big 1280x1024

I've never used watercolor before, but I really like it and it looks great in panther aside from all the small things that every theme will need to have updated.

Also, posting a new build of WindowShade X 3.1 fixing an issue with the shadows and failure to start up of some applications // crashing in Photoshop when accessing the Apple Color Picker
Posts like these are why I don't want to install metallifizer or any other apes or haxies... I like living without the random bugs and crashes that were left behind in os9

Then maybe you could stop reading GUI customization threads, as it sounds like you are closed minded to any gui or system modifications. Enjoy plain aqua/metal.
