Has anyone been able to change the Default Icon Size in the Sidebar?
It looks like 32 x 32 but I would like it to be the same size as column view as default.

I looked in the finder pref plist but nothing jumped out as me as the default setting for this.
I thought there would be a pref for this kind of stuff but I can't find it yet. Hmmm..... I wonder
where that setting is hiding?

At the very least IMHO the sidebar icons should be the same size as the icons on the
right side. I guess what I'm saying is I feel the sidebar should match the view you are in.
ICON or LIST or COLUMN (at least be given the OPTION for this) Also it would be nice if
given a choice so the sidebar text was under the icons like i have it set in icon view.
Furthermore, sidebar text is default 12 it appears. I would rather have an option to
default it to 10.

In the finder preferences all this stuff should be there for global default. Now each window
in toolbar should be a button right next to say the action drop down and it should be called
something like "view options for this window" or a shorter "View Options" which would
override the global defaults for that window only. i feel having "show view options" under
the "Action" drop like it is now is not a good spot for it.

yes all the above IMHO

The icons seem to change size depending on how many icons are in the bar, but I'm unsure if there are any settings for it.

Well when Silk runs on Panther we can change the font, and the size is the same as what's set for Finder I think.

To make the icons as small as the other icons in column view just drag a couple dozen icons in there below the one's you'd actually ever use. That will keep them all crunched up to their smallest size. You might even make a totally transparent icon for them and name them with only spaces so you won't even know they are there!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

you can use the same transparent icons you use as dock spacers.
