I'm trying to update a theme to work with ShapeShifter, and having some problems. Maybe you guys know the answer.
So I downloaded the 10.3 DXB installer app. I used pacifist to extract the extras.rsrc file. I opened the extras.rsrc in ThemePark (1.1) and exported the file into a .dlta theme file. I thought this would make it compatable with ShapeShifter, but no go.
What am I doing wrong? What do I need to make this theme work with SS?

I did this a few times for testing while working on SS. I duplicated an existing "dlta" theme, opened it, figured out the name of the Extras.rsrc file (if something other than Extras.rsrc), renamed the extracted file to the same name, and copied it in. Then I edited main.themescript in TextEdit to reflect the name theme name and description.
It's ugly, but it works.

Awesome theme, man!
Smeger, I hate to add another thing to your to do list, but could you include a conversion utility, maybe as part of TP, that updates the resources for existing themes other than having SS update it for Panther when switching to it? I bet that would help a lot of people advance their existing themes along.

Thanks... but it's not my theme. It's Butt O'Sigh's theme... I just converted it to work with ShapeShifter.
If you want it you'd have to convert it yourself. He pretty strict about his theme distribution.

Could you elaborate on this? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Indeed there's already a Jag to Panther updater in themepark.
