Is there an estimated release date for this bug fix release?

They keep saying about the same time as Omega, and BBX keeps saying before Xmas.

Um... they do realize that we'll use a bug fix of SS even without Omega included, right?
Who cares when Omega comes out (note: rhetorical question; does not warrant response)? Release the fixes as soon as they're made, please.

I'm sure they aren't going to wait on Omega.

ShapeShifter 1.0.1 will probably be out this tuesday. BBX has been talking about ShapeShifter 1.1, which will probably be out around Christmas (not necessarily on or before).
We're not going to rush it, though - we'd rather get it out when it's ready than meet some arbitrary artificial deadline. It's got a lot of goodies in it (really more than deserves a .1 upgrade I think, but hey, who cares).

I think the leak will be fixed before then.

Sounds good, that's a nice and quick bug update. v1.1 sounds cool, I like how everything has "goodies" now. Around Christmas is a good reasonable time frame for a big update.

Nope, bug fixes are .x.x and new features are .x. They're named appropriately with the exception that a single .x for the Christmas one is a bit small for what's planned. But that's okay.

so then this release is JUST bug fixes
Then this means Omega has to wait for 1.1 and Christmas or even after since you said
"around Christmas (not necessarily on or before)"
darn...

The Omega kit isn't even done yet from what BBX is saying, so I wouldn't worry about the SS update getting in the way of it being out sooner.

Is there an updated release date?
The memory problem right now is preventing me from having ShapeShifter enabled at this point in time...

Seion: they pushed the release date back to tomorrow, because they wanted to give their testers enough time to provide feedback.

Ah, thank you. I'm definitely looking forward to this b/c my line of work (Graphic Design, Web Design) renders it impossible for me to work if there are memory leaks anywhere.

For the bug fix 1.0.1 version, not the 1.1 just to make this clear for everyone who may not be keeping track.
