I've never skinned any Mac OS and I've been using them for more than 12 years. I hear great things about theming and I see lots of cool screenshots. However I don't even know how to begin. I think it would be cool if there was a sticky thread which explained how to get started, which app to use, how to revert back to Aqua, and some good links or resources for grabbing all the popular themes. Sound good?

There are but they replace system resources, can corrupt your system, are limited to what can be changed, and the best theme makers are no-longer supporting them.

Use at your own risk: http://themechanger.sourceforge.net/ and almost no Panther themes work for it, also you can't use Jag themes (if you're using Panther) unless you want to break your system.
