Sorry to start ANOTHER thread for ANOTHER Neos update, but:

"Update NEOS 1.2.1 & Kowloon 1.1

Updating NEOS and Kowloon. It made ShapeShifter correspond 1.2. It integrates NEOS iTunes Skin to guiKit attendant upon this. In addition it integrated also NEOS Safari Skin and Kowloon Safari Skin to respective guiKit. The application which reaches the point where even in addition it is supported with guiKit (it made) part part correspond such as Address Book, iChat, iCal, iPhoto and QuickTimePlayer.

Either two weeks not to pass from the update of previous NEOS 1.2, just this month already 3rd update. Being busy, there is no excuse, is. With so and the part which from ShapeShifter 1.2 is supported with guiKit to increase substantially, in the future just update may reach the suitable job quantity, because is, in such sense perhaps that the non darkness recklessly it updates it is gone."

Whatever this means, I'm sure it's cool. Sounds like the iTunes skin is now part of the GUIkit etc.

This is good news, thanks. Kowloon is among my favorite themes, but keeps a very low profile around these parts. Good to see it bumped up a version.

Neos is one of my favorite themes, but I have a problem with *Neos White* with a couple of apps. In iPhoto I can barely read the white-on-white labels of the functions across the bottom of the window, and in Quicken the info I type in is also unreadable due to the white. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you!

Wasn't there a green version? When I downloaded 1.2.1 I saw it in the preview on the website but it is nowhere in Shapeshifter neither is it still viewable in the website preview...

you can kind of fix this using guikitty. Decompress the .guikit file, and find the 'colors' folder under the white variation. change 'Control text' from white to black. Then recompress the theme using guiKitty and re-install.

This is going to make text in certain areas black where you would rather it be white, but the black text is still perfectly legible in all places unlike the white which is completely unreadable on white background.
