how to reduce filesize of icons?

Hi, I'm currently working on my first iconset.
I use the export icon plug-in for photoshop to create them.
When I export an icon I get one with a filesize around 150 kb.
I think that's too much for an icon isn't it?
How can I get an icon with a size around 50 kb?
