One of my buddies is working on a theme loosely based off the new World of Aqua drives set. So that should be great

A theme inspired by G.A.N.T would be so awesome! Someone should have put it in the mockup contest... Not me I lack skills

First of world of aqua is a great set, and his new one that will come out soon based on the matrix will be even better, and my friend commenced work on a G.A.N.T. but stopped and when i asked him to submit it he was having one of his many mood swings. Besides that if u guys could spread the word i would just love to see a theme for my smooth set on my comp or a woa theme (tell your friend that he should post it on mac nn or xthemes, or something). any theme would suite me.

What I would love is a theme that is inspired off of Crystal icons (never heard of 'em? I take it your not a linux guy. more info here. I have a port of 'em I've been working on, and I'd love to have a good theme to go with them.

You ported Crystal, them icons rule! I've been waiting for an icontainer package for a while now. The original designer only made 20 icons for OS X

My question is: what are the theme concepts/ports that NEED to be made? what is there demand for?
I've got some okay skill with photoshop and themepark, but what I struggle with the most is coming up with a holistic, balanced concept. Right now I'm debating on whether to spend time on a theme mod or on a completely original theme.
Side note: I spent some time today porting the look of Windows Longhorn. I trashed it because the basic idea of Microsoft's absolutely sucks. And I'm not going to work with something that I detest.

Ryd, if you need an idea, contact me on AIM. (phillryu) We're running a contest right now for mockups, perhaps you could pair up with an artist and do the ThemePark side to a theme. There's some great stuff, and I could show you around

Ryd, I think spending time on a new theme would be best. But then again themes from other platforms are just as cool. Technically they're new to the mac I'm porting a theme at the moment so I can't talk

At resexcellence in one of the old desktop snapshots sections, i saw an underdeveloped gant theme which was quite nice. But i dont think in will probably ever be released openly for beta or final projects
