I know the contest is over, but I did this tonight and it appeared to be a bit nicer than I thought. It's a theme inspired of Warcraft III for those who didn't noticed.
I spent a few minutes on this and I'd like to know if it's worth spending more time on it
What do you think?

Not everyone's cup of tea, and sadly it can't be done.
Though keep hammering at it, a theme inspired by WCIII's great interface style could be quite cool!

Wow looks cool, I would love to see a WC3 theme (or one for each race ) or a SC one would be cool too.
Maybe ShapeShifter 1.5 (or 2.0) would make it possible? I for one still hope for movable widgets like it waspossible with Kaleidoscope

Actually they would, you would just have to resize the menu background.

to something freekin' huge!
Out of academic curiousity, how would you go about doing it Max? I'd skip MenuEnhancer (normally a staple for me) and just make a 700x150 image or so for the menus. Which makes me wonder, has anyone ever noticed much of a performance hit when using huge menu backgrounds? I would think it would be pretty speedy, but I'm too lazy to check it out right now if someone else already knows.

I'm using some huge elements...like 1900 px menubar and toolbar, and I haven't noticed any performance reduction compared to aqua on my iBook...
