Have been using shapeshifter for some time now and it's a great app, but i was wondering if it is at all possible to use a themechanger that changes the whole aqua interface to the theme of your choice, but is able to leave safari and the finder with it's metallic look?

This might sound like a strange request to some people, but I am using the shinobi theme on my powerbook with panther and I do like the look of itune's metallic skin in contrast to the black and blues of shinobi. I have tried a couple of apps, but shapeshifter seems to take control? Just wondered if anyone out there had a workaround this, but maybe it's also not possible...

Thanks in advance, great forum

nope, not possible. and iTunes itself will look like the theme your using depending on if a skin was made for it and you're using the latest version of ShapeShifter.
DigitalRamen sucks.

Put these apps in SS's exclude list (it's in that tab that no one ever uses ).

i have... but when you do that, the menu bar at the top of the screen returns to aqua too... i was just kinda hoping you can retain the newly themed menubar, matched with the original metallic skin of safari/finder... but no, i do not think it is possible...

shame

You could edit the look for all metal windows in theme park, simply take the aqua themes gradient and pattern and paste it into shinobi.
