What would you think of this? It wont require those dorky glasses like nanosaur 2, but the buttons, widgets, and anything else I can make 3d will stick out. I've begun work on this and will post a preview soon. Its pretty hard, especially working with such small images.

any encouragement to continue?

3D in which way? are you talking about a theme that utilizes those awkward 3D goggles? that would be definetely a unique and very interesting approach. i'd like to see the result of a work like that. other than that i think you'll have to explain yourself a little more in detail or post a screenshot.

no 3d googles
I will post a screen shot soon, as I said. Its more using shadows to create a 3d look. widgets that actually get pushed in for instance.

Settle down, sig police.

He's got less in his signature than most people, including you. I think the four-line rule is a guideline so that people don't have a huge block of text.
