Oh, wow! They have animated titlebar buttons! What a novel concept!

Sorry, had to. Yes it is nice, in a BBX way.

be nice! they've only had windows 95, NT4, 95osr2, 98, 98se, 2000, me, and xp to make a new one.

i'm not too crazy about that theme. maybe use the shutdown dialog box as a template for a theme. maybe tone down the gradient on it so it is not as sharp, and i think that might look kinda cool.

I actually like the longhorn GUI. The screenshots don't do it any justice though. The sidebar is just too cool, I got a replacement one for XP called, Dashboard, way useful.

I think this theme looks pretty good. It could work well as the basis for a port.

Those icons have already been ported over at ResEx. They're okay, although I'd rather have the theme...

Yes, it's ugly, but how often do you go to time properties? Not often. So who cares?

A lot of widgets can be animated using Windowblinds, like buttons, start menu, start button, scroll bars, titlebars etc... If done preoperly it's cool, if not, it's annoying

*nod* atleast B.Bart kept his frames sleek.
Also Bart's glyphs are real clean, something also looks not right on (_ O X) that skin.

Not that I am saying its a rip as there is people out there who analyze every part of some ones skin just to pick a fight.

Anyone would be daft not to be inspired by Bart's work.

I really do miss Kaleidoscope themes, everybody makes to much simple themes these days.

hmmm... I sense a lot of anti-windows hostility. Jeez, I don't like windows either, I just thought as guys who apprciate good design that you'd put aside all that and... never mind

Maybe it's just me, but I think it looks great. It's one of the better themes I've seen whether it be windowblinds or just an msstyle type theme. One of the problems I've had trying out the "cooler" looking windows themes is that the usability tends to go down the crapper. This theme doesn't just gank the windows XP standard theme but maintains usability. It's not what I would go with, as it seems almost too uniform in color, but certainly it's a usable design.

I would rather have a theme like G-Pod and PixOS on my OSX desktop. Love them widgets.
