These are the changes:
• Updated for Panther.
• Added all Panther specific elements.
• Went through and updated existing elements.
• Added appskins for Address Book, Calculator, Font Book, Help Viewer, iChat, iSync, iTunes, Mail, Safari and Sherlock
• Added new Push Buttons.
• Added new Brushed Window style.
• Added new Labels.
• Added new style titlebar glyphs. Select "Blue" from General Preferences to use the original style glyphs, or Graphite to use the OS X style glyphs.
• Reworked button gradients to be more true to the original.
• Compromise: the selected segment tab has an indented look, although I intended to have it a dark metal look when selected. This will be in a future release because it's not currently possible to assign a different text color to a selected tab.

Great job on the update Max. I love the plethora of app skins, you make such good use of the new ShapeShifter technologies.

I already read the review in anticipation

Now the question is, where do we find all those BBX M desktops? I could only find the ones that come with the k-scheme... I know there's more though from all the old Jag screens.

Now this is a "full theme"!! I have missed BBX although I have been using it on my cell phone for a while now though. :-) The iTunes skin looks solid (given the limitations)!!

One of the best changes to make the theme experience more complete was using a more futuristic cursor set. There are a couple CursorXP bBBX sets floating around the net that look pretty good with this theme, tho I prefer the dark widget MightyMouse set I found somewhere on ResEx. (although the wait/loading icon was really lame so I fixed that as well. ;-) )

Great job Max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My only negative on the theme:
The MMicons could use a good scrubbing. At sizes smaller than 64x64 they look rather rough around the edges... alas that's not your problem. It was also a pain in the ass to load these back into CandyBar one by one, as I must have deleted my custom BBX CandyBar set I made during 10.2.

Still there are soooo many icons to choose from with this set, it is pretty difficult *not* to make your desktop look spiffy.

I've always hated that the MM icons looked so nice at full size but look awful at small sizes. I don't use them anymore because of that since I use columns view most of the time anyway.

Well I am open to suggestions on which icon set to use. Perhaps Dave's new rev.2 folders will look snazzy.

What are you using NetworkShadow?

The (speedo sweedo) boozo's done some fine tinkering with this
theme - nice touches like the safari skin having custom icons etc...
but I don't know if it's the roll-bar effect or just the plastic mixed
with the metal finder buttons and the 'X+-' widgets having no
buttons to ground them, all clashing together but this is not a theme
I could stick with, but still a hell of a lot of superior quality work on
display here.

( except for the iTunes play forward/back buttons being
- incongruously square shaped )

I was thinking he should have gone with round ones too.

I'm using the Bezel Icons because they can match anything.

Max, once again you have done something INCREDIBLE! THANK YOU!! I've been waiting for this release. I gave up trying to refresh your webpage so I went to bed (I'm in the +10 Time Zone, near Guam) and when I woke up, here it is! Thanks again Max, GREAT JOB.

Love the theme, Max! This is one I've been waiting for. It's beautiful, great appskins for everything... the only thing I don't like are the vertical lines in the menus. I just don't see the point to having some vertical grey lines in the menus. They seem like a distraction.

Other than that, great theme.

I experimented with that, having them look like large Push button, but the style didn't turn out that well so I left them squared..

I agree completely. The problem would be solved if it somehow was possible to remove the resources for the smaller sizes without going trough the manually.. Then OS X would resize the icons automatically and they would look good.

There are DPs on the DMG in the extras folder.

And thanks for all the nice comments, I'll take a moment and absorb them

Thunderstorm icons were converted to Mac format and available on resexcellence.com here. Just scroll down to the icon section...

Unfortunately, they seem to have vanished from the icon archive

The iTunes skin is awful with those square buttons. So are the window title buttons. Other than that it's great.

Thunderstorm seems to be heavily influenced by BBX/MMX Mercury

Question: What should the Mighty Mouse cursor set look like? Any and all screenshots of the theme piece(s) would be helpful in my quest for creating it. I'm thinking of just a large arrow head for the normal cursor, but i'm open to your thoughts and ideas people..
