New in this version:
- completely new graphics for 99% of the theme
- support for ShapeShifter 1.2
- app skins for Address Book, Camino, Font Book, Help Viewer, iChat, Installer, iSync, iTunes, Mail, Preview, Safari, Sherlock, and VLC. iTunes specifically will get a makeover in the future, but hopefully this will satisfy some people for now.
- variants shuffled about a bit... now there are a total of 4, with 3 green and 1 grey. Gill Sans works well as a font with the Dark Divided menus.

more info / download

As always, comments/suggestions/etc welcome.

edit:

Almost forgot... all 4 variants are now available as standalone downloads in DLTA format from the Latium website as well for all of you anti-ShapeShifter types. Just keep in mind that they aren't as good as the guikit and I'm not really supporting them .

Just need to match your deskop and icons to the theme, not sure why a lot of people don't like green.

I like it a lot. My only complaint is that the square buttons are a little inconsistent.
I'm not a big fan of the divided menus either, but everything else is really awesome.

Nice work! I really really like the grey variant; however, there seems to be a bit of green left over:

Can you fix this?

Also, any chance of seeing a grey variant with the simple titlebar?

Would it be possible to include an iTunes skin that matched the look of "greytium" more or less? Given my understanding of iTunes' resources that should be possible.

What iconset you guys use with Latium? A matching one is the only thing that's keeping me from using it right now

And regarding "dark solid & simple", can we have a standard titlebar in metal windows? I really dig this variation of the theme, but that fancy titlebar thingy around the widgets don't do it for me...

Thanks!!!

I echo these sentiments.

Also, things such as search fields and locations fields in browsers don't look right to me, although I don't know what you'd do short of just making them square-cornered.

thanks for all the comments guys, greatly appreciated .

arena,
a simple titlebar variant of greytium was ditched to keep file size down, 4 variants with a bunch of app skins each is already pretty massive. It's an easy change to make with ThemePark, but if there are enough requests I'll post a standalone greytium download with more variants.

testnull,
that's pretty bizarre, not quite sure why that's happening. thanks for spotting it, and i'll take a look.

RydDragyn,
no promises . but maybe.

fb eye,
I was planning on there being some icons, but, well... there aren't any. Sorry =-\. Orbital isn't a bad match, though. As for a simple titlebar for metal windows, that's something you're going to have to change in themepark yourself. It's not hard to do, a 5 minute job really. The element you're looking for is in global elements > metal windows > metal window bevels.

monkeybrain,
sorry, that's something you're going to have to live with or change yourself.

thanks again for all the comments, i'll get around to posting a bug fix release once a few more are reported to me.
