ManifestDestiny is a quick little app that drills through a decompiled guikit and tells you what has been replaced in what applications. Nothing you can't find by looking through the folders, but this will hopefully make it easier to tell what has been skinned. I really made it for review purposes so I make sure to check out all of the applications that are changed. This app is completely unsupported, but I don't think it can break your system or anything.

Download.

Cool concept, this'll stop all of those "ShapeShifter didn't skin this" threads.

I have only one problem, the name. Manifest Destiny basically gave the government and military the right to force other races and nationalities out of US territory. In the 1840's-60's Manifest Destiny was the justification behind Indian removal. It was used to force Indians from their land and relocate them 100's of miles away. During the relocation process 1000's of Indians died and 1000's more died once they had reached their desolate new land.

But other than that cool app...

Edit: I think there was a misunderstanding, I didn't think it was offensive I just like to start fights.

The name is a reference to the idea of the 'manifest' of the guikit.

I also don't believe in political correctness, so meh.

I'm an american indian, tribal member and all that good stuff. My tribe has a pretty large reservation out in Oklahoma... never lived there but I'm still fairly well connected. Anyway, the point is that the name doesn't offend me in the slightest, if that counts for anything .
DigitalRamen sucks.

Manifest destiny was simply the idea that it was a foregone conclusion that America would stretch from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Yes, there were some unfortunate and wrong consequences of that belief, but the belief itself wasn't bad.

What happened to Manifest Destiny? It appears the site is gone. Is anyone willing to email me a copy? Please.
