are there any known issues with Butler and iTunes 4.5 ? Butler has suddenly lost it's ability to control my iTunes though still worked a hour ago. could it have to do something with the Quicktime 6.5.1 update?

Huh, works just fine here. Are you using butler beta 11?

Could try trashing prefs and stuff

logout and log back in, should fix the problem

I trashed every .conf and .plist file concerning butler and rebooted the machine twice. problem still exists.

No problems here except that after launching iTunes, Butler is unresponsive for about a minute.

i thought so too, but then again i think that Butler, as well as other menu applets, is a modification of the gui. so i posted this issue in this forum.
