I am working steadily on Classic Platinum and I want to include the desktop patterns that came with OS 9. Only thing is, I cannot find ANYWHERE for the life of me, the following desktop patterns:

Lollipop 1-9
Mac OS Default
Petals 1-4
And majority of the solid colors.

I found the rio, bubbles, bossanova, peanuts, and candy bar, ripple, and waves, diagonals, desktop patterns, but I cannot find the other ones ANYWHERE. If someone could tell me where to find them, or e-mail me a copy of the files, I would greatly appreciate it and add credit for them in the readme file of the Classic Platinum disk image. My e-mail is slayerx@cox.net

Thanks in advance.

I've sent you a zip of my OS 9 desktops folder (untouched since I installed it).

Hope it's what you need.

Or perhaps not, I got a delivery failure notice. I'll PM you a link where you can download it.

Thank you for the file, unfortunately it isn't what I needed. Well actually it is and it isn't. There was a few of the desktop pictures I didn't have, so I can use those.

But thank you for what you gave me, that did help a little. Still needing those other patterns though. I assume they must be hidden in some resource somewhere only accessable by Resedit, but I tried every file I could think of in Resedit and came up with nothing. :/

If you look in the ppat resources of the Appearance extension with ResEdit you'll see some patterns that have an icon that's made of numbers, those are the 32 bit patterns you're looking for. I'm not sure how you'd go about exporting them but maybe try copy and paste into Graphic Converter. I've used GC to create new 32 bit ppats to paste into the Appearance extension,
