Since VLC got a replacement icon set I thought MPlayer could diserve one too. The original icons to MPlayer isnīt that cool either.
So, here is my alternative. Tell me if you like it.

When you play a movie mplayer opens another application which the actual movie is seen in.

Nice icons, mplayer definitely needed a new icon

MPlayer OSX is actually just a controller/launcher for the program that actually runs the movies. The application it runs, called mplayer, is a command line app. If you look in Mplayer OSX / Contents /Resources, you'll see 'mplayer'. This is the command line app. If you were to put this in your /usr/bin directory, you could run it using the terminal. I have done this before...

Edit: Nice icons, BTW. I'll definitely use them.
