Has anyone else had this problem?
In ThemePark:
If I paste the same button into both 'Global Elements' and 'Finder'... the Finder buttons shift to a slightly greener hue when run in Shapeshifter.
Any idea why, or how to get around this?

It might be due to color settings and proofing in Photoshop. PS likes to proof as a CMYK (for print) on screen by default, and there are also color modes you can set for each document even. If you have it proof for on screen RGB (under "View>Proof Colors") and have the color settings to Apple RGB (can't remember where but it should be in the prefs) you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm thinking he's not having a ColorSync problem, but maybe that other problem where the Finder buttons seem to gradually get a hue over time (my Finder buttons are starting to get this themselves).

--> Finder buttons yellowing?

Yeah, this is probably the issue Sage linked to. Which I still think is caused by a colorspace bug in Apple's HIToolbar code.

Good point.
I think I may have had a compound problem.
I changed Photoshop to 'Emulate Photoshop 4', and it seemed to change the photoshop file image to a similar colour to the 'errant' Finder buttons.
(suggesting to me that when choosing the colours for the finder buttons, with the colour picker eyedropper, ColourSync has overridden the real colour.)
However I haven't tried to replace the buttons yet.

The Thread that sage pointed out does also appear to have some truth to it.

case in point: the preview image for ProLCD over at MacUpdate.

On my computer the finder toolbar buttons are the same color as the rest of the LCD elements. Apparently whoever took that screenshot has the bug =-\

more to this interesting little colour shift occurance:
When using Photoshop... I have noticed that the overhead toolbar popup menus do something strange.

When first appearing, the lower (warmer) popup is seen.
After using the popup menu, the upper (greener) popup is seen.
Change tools, and the lower image is back again.
...odd.
