I've been playing with the butted bevel button... trying to get it consistant in all cases...
when I spotted something that seems unusual to me.
The 'top/bottom' section of the button is tiled in the Carbon Preview,
however in the Cocoa Preview it is tiled across the top, and stretched across the bottom!
Is this what Aqua actually does... or something introduced by ThemePark?
Or am I just going crosseyed... again...

ThemePark doesn't change how that works. The graphics for Top/Bottom part should be able to tile, since that's how the button is used. The only part that stretches is the vertical fill and the vertical sides.
