Does anyone have a simple DTLA theme with just the brushed elements removed?

I am pretty happy with the Panther theme all around, but would really like to have one that just removed the metal.

I have SS, but would like this to be a dtla so I can replace the original extras.rsrc.

Thanks in advance all.

No offense or anything but what's so wrong with brushed metal?

I know that one exists. Check the early part of the 10.3 themes section on ResExcellence. It'll probably be in there.

This has been gone over many times before. The arguments I recall are:

1) it's inconsistent in where it's used
2) it has no visual cue to distinguish inactive windows from active ones
3) it's really ugly
4) it's slightly slower

There are probably some more.

get (de)metafilizer from Unsanity. Does exactly what you're asking without using a theme.

Panther Aqua No Brushed is the theme that can be used to do what you want. But it's not a DLTA theme, sorry.

With a copy of GuiKitty and ThemePark, you can easily convert that guikit to DTLA...

No, I want to remove the metal color & textures, not alter the window style.

This is what you want right?

Then as mentionned in previous post, you need to get Panther Aqua No Brushed. It's a guikit, but the guikitty+themepark combo will do the DTLA trick...

Have fun!!!

Perfect. Thanks.

With the tips I picked up I replaced the metal window texture in a version of SmoothStripes.

Thanks all!

One can't really remove the metal 100% ether with just a theme.
