This is an informal poll to check out what you guys are using currently. I'm sure this'll be of interest to others, and I've always been curious of what kind of themes people tend to keep on using for long periods of time. Obviously this list is generalized, and not all themes have been mentioned, so try to pick the category that best fits your theme.
Also, feel free to reply to this thread with a preview image of the theme you are using!
Preview images can be found here: Image Archive
Go to the directory named after your theme, and link to the preview image. (preview.gif or preview.jpg.)

Shark's GlossyMenuBlack. Perfect combination of milk and Aqua. Works perfect for just about any desktop.
A buffet selection of dock icons, no one particular set dominates.

i'm using Siro at the moment... but soon i might try out Ashen. i also like FatalE, and EYLO. i'd still be using EYLO, except for the text problem where there's really light blue text and the EYLO colours are mostly light blue, so it's basically unreadable.
but light themes mostly for me.

ProLCD Blue (smooth metal) and G5 system icons. The itunes skin is amazing. I also have used smoothstripes, aluminium alloy, prolcd, tiskin and black milk. As you can see a wide range of themes
Generally I like themes that have 2 colours complementing each other. I am loving the trend towards to themes with skins for many apps included
So to sum up a i like an aqua inspired, light metallic theme

I'm a pretty regular DBX user but was in the habit of changing on a fairly regular basis until I got hooked on using ANG which I suppose should be in the off-the-wall category (its modeled after the flower-power iMacs). The reason I switched and then stuck was because I am currently running the EarthDesk desktop and the theme is just sweet with the dt. Good polll BTW....

I'm using ProLCD right now and I guess I'll use it a little longer, 'cause right now I'm to lazy to find a new good looking theme/icon/desktop - combination.

I generally switch among aqua mods and light themes, although every once in a while sink back into bizarre dark themes like Shinobi and [fear]Platinum

I have an idea. Why don't we post a preview image from the MacThemes archive instead of saying the name of the theme, so we can quickly scan through the thread and see this visually?
Image Archive
Go to the directory naemd after your theme, and link to the preview image. (preview.gif or preview.jpg.) I'll start it off.

Funny because I've never used an Aqua variant before (closest was AA), and just this week I wanted to see what the big deal is. Normally, I use AA or Rhapsodized =/

I'm currently using Ashen. I found it quite interesting. My desktop is now less busy and glossy. Suits me well.
So, from me, a big thank you to Mac15 and Bant.

Hey, Patcarla, what is that one called? Looks cool!
I used this one for quite a while:
And after going through both Paper And Plastic and SimpleX for short periods of time, I have moved to using this one all the time:
I'm glad for the blue variant. I love how this theme looks but I just disliked the greenish color. It was a bit sickening.

MakkiX keeps creeping back into a dominant No 1 of rotation... with the Bruce Lee Stormtrooper from http://www.fontalicious.com or Hong Kong shots from http://www.SpyMac.com. Yellow is disturbing yet somehow easy on the eyes. You don't have to look for anything.
Changling with the Eurydice mix is great.
ProLCD blue is quick third.
Soft Blue Milk from Max Rudberg Mod forum is easily there.
Everything else comes and goes in no particular order.
No one stays for more that a couple of daze, which means I am really happy everyone works so hard and keeps new ones coming out.
thx to all of you.

I tried Ashen this morning, and it made me decide to give DXB another try...
DXB is now being used and I just fell in love all over again!!! Btw, Butt O'Sigh added a Safari and iTunes skin a few days ago. So go ahead and grab a copy of MenuEnhancer Sample at www.padmacolors.net

Yeah, I haven't been able to find anything I like better than DXB, aka MenuEnhancer Sample (maybe because I'd been using its ancestor, Apple's Drawing Board since well before I migrated to OS X.)
Although if any of the mooted themes inspired by Smoothicons materialize, I will be sorely tempted to switch.
Hmm . . . speaking of old-school themes, anyone remember Geometry (sorry, couldn't find a bigger screenshot)? Always liked that one, and was sorry not to see it make the transition to OS X.

Oooh, I love DXB. Unfortunately I couldn't find the link to download it on the web page... a combination of poor translation and poor reading of a poor translation skills. Mind posting the link?

The thing you want to download is Menu Enhancer Sample 3.02.
The actual guikit is called mes20040612.guiKit, and I think it's in a subfolder of the download.
