Why is it that when you click on a toolbar icon (or a prefpane), the text gets a drop shadow? My guess is that it's a way to show the text's relationship to the icon (since the icon gets darker when you press it – it's not really possible for the text to also get darker, since it's already black), but I wish Apple would come up with a better way. And has anybody (smeger?) figured out how to turn it off? Maybe even change its color to white, so that it looks like you're pushing the text in?

My dock is changed with Silk.. might i suggest that you restart and reset your PRAM (Have it chime twice, before starting up)... It seemed to fix all my Silk issues.
Good Luck.. and let me know if this helps please.

How are you changing the theme font with Silk? Via fast or via normal?

Here are some more random questions:
1) Why is it that whenever I change my icon for the Applications folder that the icon in the sidebar for the Applications folder never changes to match it, even if I remove and re-add the icon to the sidebar?
2) Why is it that the Desktop icon always returns to my sidebar after every single reboot, despite the fact that I remove it every time and have it unchecked in the Finder preferences for the things I want in the sidebar?
3) Why is it that there seems to be a patch about 1"x1" on the bottom left of my monitor (about .5" from the corner) that I simply cannot click on, and (and here's the real kicker) why is it that restarting the Dock makes that patch of space available to click on once again?
Incidentally, the only thing I'm using right now to modify my Dock is TransparentDock.
