I've been having iTMS issues since yesterday. I'm getting the check your connection error message. I can browse just fine. I also removed all firewall software and tried it. Is anyone else having this problem? It also seems slow.

Actually it could be a theme problem! There was a bug in ThemePark or Shapeshifter that got into my theme for a while which prevented my from connecting to the iTunes music store. Same exact symptoms as described above... I could browse, but not search or buy etc. It's been discussed on this forum.

Try switching themes or turn off Shapeshifer alltogether and see if it's the theme you're using. And post back if it is!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

The ShapeShifter problem with ITMS was fixed as of SS 2.0.

That said, I had problems accessing ITMS on Christmas day, too. Maybe they were just uber-slammed with traffic.
