  • “Sexy and highly usable - Niqu melds sleek and über-polished metals with glossy, opaque black plastic elements. With bright, vivid splashes of blue to accent; it keeps the users interest whilst being unobtrusive for pro users.”

“VanillaSoap's Rick Patrick is a relative newcomer to the Mac OS X GUI customization scene, coming out of nowhere with his debut theme, LutetiumGUI. And now, within a month of his first release, he's back again with another top notch theme for the professionals. Introducing Niqu, spiritual successor to Ric Zito's axed project Simple Grey, and simply the best professional theme available so far for OS X.” - Phill Ryu

Read the rest of the preview, and my MacThemes Insider Interview.

    •» Four regular styles,
    •» Four pro styles,
    •» VanillaCursors Special Edition,
    •» Three or more wallpapers,
•» Compatible with upcoming Lutetium Metem icon-set.

Please don't PM or email for the beta - only a tiny group is testing it, so the answer will be no.

Looks fantastic! I'll be happy to wait for it a little longer if it'll come out complete w/appskins for all the iApps and the most-used Menubar extras.

That IS very nice! Looking forward to it because like you say, it seems to be very useable. One suggestion: perhaps an alternate without the blue for us monochromatic lovers.

The only thing that worries me is the phrase coming soon...

The word "soon" is the equivalent of a rubber band that you can stretch almost indefinitely. And often when you stretch it too much, it breaks in your face...

But I'm quite confident this one will see the light of day

This theme will SURELY see the light of day, if you don't trust Seph, I'll guarantee it or your money back™

Omega? Like others have said that was supposed to be THE theme of 2002....passé imo, but still a theme I'd like to see finished.

Any details on different styles?

I'd love to see a black one (windows, etc.) with the widgets and menus intact. Like a plastic-like black theme with those blue highlights.

Great work.
