There have been some personal mods people have made, but these are rarely released. It seems better to do this yourself with themepark by making the menubar items transparent in Photoshop. Several people have posted great tutorials on this, so search the forum for this topic.
Otherwise, I use Menushade which makes it disappear and re appear as you scroll over. Great with some themes, but not all...
