I know i've seen it before, and tried searching on here and google, but can't find it.
What's the app that shrinks your username in the menubar(i think you can do it by picture too)?

I think it only comes up there when you have multiple users and fast user switch

I've used it with no extra accounts - just me.

What on earth do you mean ? I've just stated that you can use it on a single account without any extra work other than doubleclicking the installer from WinSwitch.

Oh for ****'s sake -
This is how you get your name up in the menubar:
Open "System Preferences"
Click on "Accounts"
Click on "Login Options" at the bottom of the list of accounts. (if it is grayed out, you need to click the little padlock at the bottom and enter your admin password first).
Check the checkbox that says "Enable Fast User Switching", and click okay in the ensuing dialogue box.
Quit System preferences.
That's it.

Ozz, if you read the first post, it's about using Winswitch's options not using the user name in the menu bar.

Sorry. I thought they meant shrinking the name to an icon or whatever. I didn't know WinSwitch did anything else but an icon.

The last revision of Winswitch allows more options. You can choose an icon, your user icon, your initials, and name in many ways.
