well, something screwed up with my post.

but, in summary, i apologized for posting a noob question, but i didnt want to litter the SS thread with my question.

i think its konfab, but if it is, and its a custom widget, can someone give me some links to get started with it?

Konfabulator is one of many things that will display the album art on your desktop. Do a search at Mac Update for more.
