I've found how to locate and "copy" the brushed metal texture using ThemePark, but I'm not sure what to use to convert it into something usable to make a png out of it.

Any suggestions?

And how would one do that? The export options in Themepark remain disabled.

See that "send" button? Noticed that it's still disabled, dispite any resource being selected?

No I don't have PhotoShop on the Mac. Never said I did.

So again I'll ask to people out there: what's good to extract a resource into something usable (ie. any good converters out there?)

Be more clear in your descriptions, if you had said you didn't have photoshop I would have given you Pyn's option.......

I would recommend the same to you. "send" is not the same as "export", hence the seperate menus.

Cheers man!

What did you end up using? Photoshop or something else? I'm asking because dragging it from themepark didn't put in the grey background in it...

Thx again!

Missed your post there...

Acutally I had already tried that but no amount of dragging did anything. But since doing the system update (and probably the forced reboot), it works now. Go figure.
