I realize this may be a lame question but here goes; How do I modify the skin if iTunes? I detest the original brushed metal and would like to either create or use an already created alternate skin. Pretty easy process? Where would one look for existing iTunes skins from other designers? I know of ResExcellence. Are there any other locations that have what I am looking for? Thanks. Peace out.

you could find a theme that skins itunes. you could also open the itunes resource file up in themepark and make your own itunes skin. of course, if you do make your own skin, make sure to keep a copy of the original resource, incase anything goes wrong.

So is that a NO? I can't change the skin of iTunes? There isn't anywhere I can find alternative iTunes skins?

Thanks for all your suggestions people !!! You ROCK!!! I am running iTunes 4.7.1 so the ResExcellence resource is not an option because they only have 4.6 iTunes skins. I am not sure if I have to replace the .rsrc file completely or what. If anyone is in the know share with a Mac brother will you? Peace.

Depends on how you do it. If you use ThemePark and ShapeShifter and create an app skin for iTunes, ShapeShifter will just "do the right thing" with your guiKit file. If you use ThemePark to edit the raw iTunes.rsrc file, you'll need to replace the existing iTunes.rsrc file and keep a backup because you'll almost certainly do it wrong somewhere along the line. Everyone does.
