So far I have the following out of what I'm working on:

http://brok3n.org/screenies/blue-taxday2.png

(a little older at http://brok3n.org/screenies/blue3.png)

I need a few suggestions on where to go with it. I like leaving the aqua toolbar in the theme, it gives a good contrast, but would take suggestions on where to go with it if it needs to be changed later. I also need suggestions for the close/minimize/maximize widgets. I don't plan on changing the menubar items because they fit with the theme itself, plus it's a lot of extra work for little gain.

Thoughts?

I don't know where you should go with it (although I like the idea of looking at the cellshaded stuff). But I like what you've got now! That's a nice shade of blue, very restful.
Geekspiff - generating spiffdiddlee software since before you began paying attention.

Ya, I was trying to go for something which wasn't throwup colors (I call brown and green these), wasn't black since that doesn't work, and wasn't white.

I think I have an idea for the widgets now, but it'll be another week before I can do that. Now that I know people like it I'll actually finish it, lol.

Is the only way to change the drawer in iCal by adding a iCal application skin?
