Most of it is konfabulator. You'll get the same options in Tiger with Dashboard.

In the GUI screen shot thread it seems like half the ppl have weather on their desktop as a widget or in their menubar as Meterologist. I hate mucking up my desktop so prefer the latter.

I take the lo-tech approach... I get off my lazy ass and look out the window to check the weather!

Pfft, who needs reality when you can look at a computer screen?

looking outside doesn't tell you if its cold or hot out. it doesn't tell you what tomorrows weather might be like. a little konfabulator widget is nice, but they usually don't tell you the next few days, which i think, makes them rather pointless. the only widget i know of that shows more than one day, is the weather widget that comes with konfabulator, but it's rather big, in my opinion.
i use meteorologist to show the weather. it's always been right and it updates frequently. i'd suggest it to anyone who wants weather info.

Try the "mini" version of the weather widget, it's about 1/4 the size.

I keep both Konfabulator weather widgets open all the time. I keep the miniWeather widget always visible in a corner of my desktop, and keep the large Weather widget (the one that comes with Konfab.) open, with the forecast drawer open, but set the display level on that one to Konspose, so that it only appears when I hit the hotkey.

The best in my book is Meteorologist(free). I like to keep my desktop free of a lot of clutter so, while I dig Konfabulator for certain things, for weather it takes up way too much space. Meteorologist is a menubar app with cool menubar icons that change with the conditions and extended forcasts. Check it at Sourceforge.net and possibly VersionTracker.com, MacUpdate. Peace out

Classic response just classic. Priceless my Mac Brother.
Hey, you have Tiger? How is it? Is it all that we were hoping for and a bag of chips? What's the skinny? Peace out.

I love dashboard, its a awesome little thing to have .. Also, the built in dictionary is awesome! i dont have a camera on my imac, so i cant really use the new ichat av, the spotlight feature is nice, but it takes a little getting used to .. the backgrounds arnt that great, but there is a RRS screensaver that has the new apple news and stuff which looks really cool cause its 3d. Thats about it
