i recently downloaded skin a dock. it never loaded right so i turned it off. ever since then, i have been having a problem with the icons in the dock. after launching an app, the icon bounces, then disappears. the shortcut to the app still exists, but the space is blank. when i mouseover, the name of the app appears, but the icon doesnt reappear until i drag the empty space out of the dock and replace it with the icon from the apps folder on the hd. i talked to apple and they told me to find my preferances and caches foldersand trash them, then reboot. that didnt work and they had no other suggestions. anyone ever seen this before?
