Once I set my window view options (folder icon size, color, size of the window, etc) and close the window, those settings remain as long as I keep your computer on; however, once I log out or restart, the views revert back to the way they were before I adjusted them. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to keep my views?

I see this problem too. I think the .ds_store files have something to do with it but I'm not sure... You're welcome for this helpful post
