A while ago i ported the, imo, very nice adium messageview, candybars over to proteus.
the one issue i had with it, and how proteus handles messageviews, is that there was about 36 different color variations. 6 colors against each other. i'm all for choice, but that was too much. i would end up using one for a long time until i went into the preferences and chose a different one.
today i made Candybars Random.
a tiny (10k) message view that uses the same 6 colors, but every new chat window will randomly choose a color for your title bar and a color for the person you are talking to. so if you have 3 chats, you will probably have 3 different message views.
