I must be getting old how do I enable that cool ripple effect on Dashboard i.e., drop the widget and the water waves come out.

Thanks!

you cannot enable or disable this effect. It requires a Radeon 9700 ot higher video card if you do not have this then it wont be enabled because card below do not support coreimage

Not possible I'm afraid. The ripple effect is only possible on the latest Graphic Cards shipped with the latest Macs. I've got a Powerbook 12" 867Mhz and it's not for my Mac either...

All the new iMacs that ship with 9600s do ripple effect. My iBook has a 9200, and does not.

the word "too" is an understatement. i thought he was attaching an image saying "he wanted dis." took me a second until i realized that that is the biggest sig i have seen around here.

don't know whether tooki will "under 480px" it or tell him his sig is too big.

yeah, that sig is too large. easily fixable though...trim the far left a big. cut the top and bottom off, so its more of just those characters and then write that "mac gamer" over the characters in a nicer font with a bit of transparency. if you did that, it might look nicer and be size acceptable.

btw, i think it sucks about that ripple effect only being able to be seen with a certain video card or higher. i hope they told you about that, when you bought tiger.

I have it on my PB, don't have it on my mini and wouldn't care one way or another. It's neat the first couple of times but the novelty quickly wears off.

out of those 3, i liked barbecue the most.

maybe try one of these instead:
http://www.smackbomb.com/famousfonts/fonts/diablo.html

http://eknp.com/php/fd.php?f=diablo

http://www.maxfreak.com/diablo2/itemeditor.shtml

that last one, the font is at the bottom of the page, though has no preview.

Now someone fix my menus!
