I just downloaded the screensavers from http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/ unzipped them with finder, double clicked the new file it installed the saver and started system prefs after that. But when I choose the hitchhhiker´s saver from the list the sys prefs app crashes.
Is this a bug in Tiger (10.4.1) or what is going on here?

the one from the us site kept crashing the system prefs aswell, for me. but the one from the uk site worked-

i had that screensaver for about 10 minutes and never had a problem with it, so...i probably got mine from the UK site. its a nice screensaver, but...it doesn't beat fluid.
