Hi all,
Just got my Powerbook last week, and am still working on figuring out how to get it just how I want it. With that, I have a few questions. I downloaded a great icon set for all sorts of removable media, and would like to use them. However, with DVDs at least, I can't seem to change the icon for an inserted disc using the Get Info method. It lets me copy the icon want to use, but when I click the DVD icon, there's no option to paste it on the DVD. How would I go about doing this?

Also, in the great "Official GUI Customization" thread, I see people with an icon of their model of computer as their HD icon, which I managed to do. But what I want to do is put the dp that I have on my computer on the screen like I've seen. What's the best (free) way to edit an icon image so I can do this?

i'm not too sure, but wouldn't that mean each time you change your desktop picture, you'd want to change the icon? plus depending on the size of the icon, your using, you won't be able to make out the desktop picture that well anyway.
