Since WeatherPop is unavailable (I have last version on my computer but not working) I'm using Meteorologist which is also free. I really dont like it's icons and wanna change them. They're saves as .tiff in the /library/application support/meteo/ folder but I can't get my new icons (from http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tri...her-icons.html) to load properly. I resize them all to 16x16 but they're .tiffs (that came with Meteo) have no background, or it's transparent.
How can I make my background transparent using tiff? I thought that was only png and gif. Anyone have any icons they would like to share?
you could try using Weatherdock instead. I found Meteorologist to be quite buggy and started using Weatherdock. I changed the icons on that OK but that was using the ones provided via the website. Im sure that it would be a simple enough procedure to use your own ones
Thanks, I'll check it out. I did use FileJuicer to extract the WeatherPop icons, then copied them into the /library/application support/meteo/dock folder and they look fine...
I want to be able to change them to anything though... Thanks again...
