Has anybody had experience with wigets running on desktop By Themselves, outside of Dashboard?
After restart, widgets (I was previously running in Dashboard) have started appearing floating on my desk.
I close them in the Dash, but they still will run on the desktop.
W.T.F?

the new tinker tool does a few new things with widgets, it allows them to stay on the desktop so that you can make them easier and what not. maybe if you just installed the latest tinkertool this could be it.

I hope so. It has a while to go before it leaves beta status, imo.

Am I missing something? I don't use it, but I haven't heard of any problems with it. I thought it was quite elegant the 10 minutes I used it before I decided to go back to Konfabulator.
