I can't get enough of Coda, and after reading
John Gruber's article I figured I should try my hand at creating a replacement icon. While the current leaf does look great (particularly at the smaller sizes), in my opinion it doesn't fit so nice in the dock.
So, I've made two download packs. The "Variant 1" pack provides the first icon pictured above, designed to closely resemble Apple's Xcode application icon, while the "Variant 2" pack instead features the middle icon from the preview picture, styled more after common editing tools (eg. TextEdit). Each of these downloads also includes a set of replacement document icons to continue the "Xcode" developer theme.
Installation:
You know the drill. Control-click the Coda application and click the "Show Package Contents" contextual menu item. Then, open the Contents folder, and drop all of the .icns files included in your pack into the Resources folder. To reflect these changes on Coda, be sure to Get Info on the application, click the icon in the top-left corner so that it's highlighted, and hit the delete key. If you wish to see the document icons take effect on your computer, Get Info on one of each of the effected file types (ie, HTML), ensure that the Open With combo box has Coda selected, and click the Change All button.
