A lot of us wasted our money. The guy who put out Milk (don't remember his name) had some great themes back in the day. I never found anything else even remotely usable.

ShapeShifter was the biggest waste of money on my Mac this side of the Griffin PowerMate

Then again, maybe not.

If anything, there are still great themes by Hirogen, Susumu, and others that are regularly updated. If I'm not mistaken, there is a version of Milk that's updated over in the MacThemes Hybrids forum, where other fresh mods exist.

I will be honest in saying I use default aqua, despite having a legal license for Shapeshifter though. xD

ShapeShifter never came to be what it said it would be.

So said theme could never be made.

It was forgotten and the author moved on to bigger/better things.

Did anyone ever find out what that theme was supposed to look like?

I bought ShapeShifter back when it came out and I installed it for the first time in about 2 years recently to get the Aqua theme with the small corners (like iTunes 7).
Needless to say I won't be buying an upgrades in the future.

The fortunate thing is that I don't think there'll be a paid upgrade in a while, the only exception being Shapeshifter 3, which MIGHT cost a fee.

Unsanity will be damn-sure to have themes lined up to make the purchase worthwhile though, themes that exploit the new resources.

His name was Max and he's moved on. I think his Aqua Extreme, SmoothStripes, and Rhapsodized themes were among the best out there.
