I can't find a decent Vista theme for Shapeshifter. I found some Russian guy on deviantart who took screenshots of a Vista theme but didn't post a link to it.

Well, if you can be sure of anything, if it exists, it exists in the USSR.

The USSR isn't around any more.

Yeah, that theme is dope. I find it to be one of the best themes made by ShapeShifter.

it is a great theme, but there are odd issues. like some of the programs that you have running that are in the top right bar show up tinted weirdly. the author is trying to figure out how to stop it.
other than that, it rocks...

Do you have a newer version than me because all I see is screwed up background behind the menu items, too much transparency around windows, hard to read text, inconsitent design. The theme is bloody ugly.

i got my version from here:
Musings from Mars » Crystal Clear: Pushing Mac OS X Windows Beyond Translucent
i would suggest that you do not use the transparency option. for somethings it looks cool, but for most it just confuses things. i think that this is the closest thing there is to Vista theme out there.
there are 2 version for download. they are both minor differences.

Huh, I played with it for awhile, but it's really hard to use. Toolbars are messed up, window titles are hard to read, etc. etc. Nice idea in pushing the possibilities, but not really ready to fly, I'd say.

Sounds like it's a pretty accurate Vista theme!

Erm, without wanting to stir up a can of worms, can someone please explain the point in trying to make OSX look like Vista?

Well MS has done a good job with Aero Glass and it feels fresher than Aqua which feels old now. I think that Russian Aero Glass theme must be a fake mockup because Shapeshifter doesn't support pixel shaders to create a blur effect in transparency.
