I was just wondering if all you fabulous themers out there will be updating your themes for the new Safari beta or if you are going to wait until it's not a beta anymore (with the kinks worked out). Just trying to get a general consensus. Do you peeps think beta will end with the release of Leopard in the fall? 3 months of aqua?!

yeah, this concerns me too.
i decided that safari 2.0.4 themed is, for now, more important than the beta, but...
want it all...!
hopefully a shapeshifter fix coming...

I just ended up switching back. The difference wasn't worth the jarring aqua against my Ayofe everything else.

In addition to it not working with themes, Safari Beta actually killed a couple of my widgets...Merriam-Webster Dictionary and IMDB.
I just switched back, and although it didn't fix the theme problem, my widgets work again.
Strange...

Well This grey sucks on the safari for windows.. i Cannot read anything esp. on the status bar which I found by the way, and it should really be enabled by default, as I do not like clicking on blind links, u know...and yes it's hard to read, and so anyone know how to change the Grey to another lighter color and by the way MS DRM is in installed plugins..
and i agree with the guy above again this is BETA... but again I haven't had much trouble on my side- of course here on xp, i disabled and de-activated a lot of u know what.... and change from explorer to litestep and the reluna (old theme)....

I've been using the beta since it was released. I can't comment on Windows' issues. I haven't experienced any problems with the beta at all. It's definitely faster than 2.x. True, it breaks ShapeShifter, but installed themes (like iMetal or Cats) work fine with it.

Your widgets will work again with 3.0.2.
