Shapeshifter not working

I'm new to this forum, so I apologize if this topic has already been discussed.
Shapeshifter will not work anymore for some reason on my Powerbook G4. Every time i click "apply theme", it looks like its doing something, but nothing ever happens. I reboot/log out, and nothing. Anyone have any thoughts?

Yeah.. I thought maybe you telling us what OS and what version of SS you are using would probably help.

I've had that problem too. Try deleting your ShapeShifter cache folder in the Caches folder of your Library and reinstalling the themes that you want to try. Make sure they are newish themes that are made for new versions of Tiger. Let us know if it works. If not, upgrade to Leopard and it will break Shapeshifter completely so you won't have to worry about it anymore :-]

Hmm, that didn't seem to work. There actually wasn't a shapeshifter cache folder in the library cache folder. New themes don't work either. Any other thoughts (other than buying leopard)?

That's strange! I would suggest going to Unsanity & download or update to the latest (again) I assume this is the paid for version?
Then check in Finder>Home-folder>Library>Application support>ShapeShifter guikits & also Home-folder>Library>Cashes>ShapeShifter those folders should be their another thing check to see in System Preferences>Shapeshifter
that the check-box is ticked in Enable Shapeshifter. I'm running 10.4.11 & Application Enhancer and all seem fine.
