I'm a new Mac OS user and I'm curious to know how you can view album art of what's playing on your Mac. I'm guessing this is playing in iTunes, but I can't really tell. If it's not from iTunes then what application is this from?

It's not iTunes alone. It's an application called Cover Sutra. Just Google "Cover Sutra" and you'll get the goods. It's a nice little app. Take care.

Artwork is another one, and it's free.
There are a few different ones available.
