Is there any way to change the transition Spaces uses in Leopard? Has anyone found any way to modify Spaces at all (e.g. wallpaper, naming spaces, etc.)?

I believe there was a thread laying around here somewhere. If I recall correctly the verdict is so far no, there isn't anything. I would like there to be something like different wallpapers for different spaces. I use to do that all the time on my Linux box.

Tony Arnold, author of VirtueDesktops, is purportedly working on Hyperspaces.

I'm personally not holding my breath on this one, but we shall see.

Thanks for the link. I used to use VirtueDesktops and was hoping Spaces would be a more complete copy of it. I'll be watching for HyperSpaces.
